Faisalabad: A domestic worker in Faisalabad’s Paharnang locality has been accused of kidnapping his employer’s 8-year-old daughter. The suspect, named Hidayatullah from Kotli, allegedly enticed the young girl, Zareesha, before fleeing on his employer’s motorcycle.
Maqsood Ahmed, the father of the abducted child, shared that his daughter was playing outside their home when the worker seized the opportunity and took her away.
The police have filed a case based on Maqsood’s complaint and initiated a search to locate the missing girl and apprehend the abductor. The incident has caused widespread concern in the neighborhood as authorities intensify efforts to ensure the child’s safe return.
In a separate incident in Faisalabad on Sunday, four suspects involved in a gang-rape case were killed in a police encounter near Nishatabad. The suspects, Zahid, Naveed, Islam, and Qasim, were in police custody under remand for robbery and rape charges. During a transfer to Achkira village for evidence recovery, the police were ambushed by the criminals’ accomplices near Ghulam Muhammadabad. In the ensuing shootout, the attackers killed their own gang members before fleeing the scene.
