US Pledges Support Against Terrorism in Pakistan

The United States has condemned recent terrorist attacks in Pakistan and reaffirmed its commitment to counterterrorism efforts in partnership with Islamabad. During a press briefing, US State Department spokesperson Matthew Miller expressed concern over the violence, including the November 9 Quetta bombing, and extended sympathies to victims’ families.

Miller highlighted the heavy toll terrorism has taken on Pakistan and reiterated the US stance against the use of Afghan soil for terrorist activities, referencing previous Taliban commitments. He emphasized ongoing discussions to strengthen Pakistan’s civilian and military counterterrorism capabilities.


Additionally, Miller addressed the murder of a Sikh American, suspected to involve an Indian conspiracy, urging India to ensure the safety of Sikh citizens in the US. He also condemned a deadly attack near Karachi’s airport, offering condolences to those affected.
