Europe Asia

In a tragic accident in Toronto, Canada, four friends lost their lives after becoming trapped inside a Tesla that caught fire. The crash, which occurred on October 24, reportedly damaged the vehicle’s electronic door system, preventing escape. The car burst into flames after colliding with a guardrail.

Only one passenger, a woman in her 20s, managed to escape. She was rescued by Canada Post employee Rick Harper, who bravely shattered a window using a metal pole, allowing her to crawl out. Ketaba Gohil, 29, her brother Neelraj, 25, and friends Jay Sisodiya and Digvijay Patel were all unable to escape and died in the blaze.

Harper described the frantic rescue attempt, explaining to the Toronto Star: “The doors wouldn’t open. I believe the young woman was trying to escape but couldn’t, likely due to the battery or damage from the crash.” Harper noted the smoke was so dense that he hadn’t realized others were still inside the vehicle.
