Rock legend Bruce Springsteen has officially endorsed Democratic presidential candidate Kamala Harris for the upcoming Nov. 5 election, joining a growing list of celebrities backing the U.S. vice president in her race against former President Donald Trump. With prior endorsements from Hollywood heavyweights like Meryl Streep, Chris Rock, Oprah Winfrey, and Taylor Swift, Harris has gained significant star power in her campaign.

Calling Trump “the most dangerous candidate” he’s seen in his lifetime, Springsteen praised Harris and her running mate, Minnesota Governor Tim Walz, for their inclusive vision for the country. He emphasized their focus on economic growth benefiting everyone, not just the wealthy.

At 75, the Grammy-winning “Born in the U.S.A.” singer has been a long-time advocate for Democratic causes, having previously campaigned for Barack Obama and Hillary Clinton. However, some Democrats worry that celebrity endorsements may backfire, as they did in Clinton’s 2016 campaign against Trump. Despite this concern, Springsteen’s backing adds more fuel to Harris’ high-profile support base as the election race tightens.
