Google Search Console Insights Removes Google Analytics Data

Google has officially announced that it has dropped Google Analytics data from its Google Search Console Insights tool and reporting. The company posted a notice on social media stating, “We’re focusing on data from Search Console, no longer including metrics from Google Analytics.” This change marks a significant shift in how data is presented, with Google Search Console Insights Removing Google Analytics Data favoring more streamlined information from Search Console.



Google also mentioned that they are “rolling out an update of Search Console Insights to all properties” and expressed their hope that this update would make it easier for users to access details directly from Search Console Insights. Search Console Insights, which first launched as a beta in June 2020 and was fully rolled out in June 2021, initially allowed users to view data from both Google Search Console and Google Analytics in one place.
