A fire broke out once again at the historic Rimpa Plaza on MA Jinnah Road, Karachi, on Thursday. Emergency responders, including two fire trucks and a Rescue 1122 team, arrived swiftly to tackle the flames.
The spokesman for Rescue 1122 confirmed the immediate dispatch of fire crews and an ambulance to the scene upon receiving reports of the blaze.
This incident follows a similar fire just two weeks ago, which caused significant damage to the fourth floor of the plaza, destroying two floors entirely and partially damaging two others. That fire also razed multiple shops, cabins, and warehouses, though no casualties were reported as 12 people were successfully evacuated.
Efforts to extinguish the latest fire are ongoing, as officials work tirelessly to minimize further damage.
