Pakistan’s pharmaceutical exports surged by 31.11% in the first quarter of FY2024-25 compared to the same period last year, reaching $105.936 million from $80.796 million, according to data from the Pakistan Bureau of Statistics (PBS). In September 2024 alone, exports hit $43.607 million—a 61.55% rise year-on-year and a 53.78% increase from August.
Additionally, car sales in Pakistan have soared, showing a 112% year-on-year increase in October 2024, with 13,108 units sold compared to 6,180 in October 2023. This upward trend brought the first four months’ total to 40,693 units, marking a 50% boost over last year’s sales of 27,162 units.
