Israel has imposed a nighttime curfew in southern Lebanon, prohibiting movement south of the Litani River until 7 a.m. local time (05:00 GMT) on Thursday.

Since October 7, 2023, the ongoing conflict has led to catastrophic loss of life: over 44,000 Palestinians have been killed, and more than 104,000 injured. In Israel, at least 1,139 people lost their lives during the Hamas-led attacks on the same day, with over 200 taken hostage.

In Lebanon, Israeli strikes have resulted in at least 3,823 deaths and 15,859 injuries since the escalation began.
