Escalation in Israel-Hezbollah Conflict

Gaza Alert

The conflict between Israel and Hezbollah has escalated dramatically. Hezbollah launched 340 missiles and drones at Israel, injuring 11 people and causing severe damage in Tel Aviv, according to Israeli army radio. The group’s resistance in southern Lebanon remains intense.

In response, Israel intensified airstrikes on Beirut, causing massive destruction. Lebanon’s Education Ministry has suspended school operations in the capital until January due to safety concerns.

In Gaza, Israeli forces struck the Kamal Adwan Hospital in northern Gaza again, following an earlier attack that left two dead and over a dozen medical staff injured.

The humanitarian toll continues to rise. Since October 7, at least 44,211 Palestinians have been killed, with over 104,000 wounded in Gaza. In Israel, the Hamas-led attack claimed 1,139 lives, with more than 200 hostages taken. Meanwhile, Israeli strikes in Lebanon have killed 3,754 people and injured over 15,600 since the conflict began.

This escalation has deepened the crisis across the region, with no clear resolution in sight.
