Palestinians in Gaza are facing an increasingly desperate situation, with most relying on food from community kitchens and humanitarian aid as the region endures over 14 months of conflict. Many have lost everything and are unable to afford basic necessities.

The United Nations Relief and Works Agency (UNRWA) has halted its aid operations through the Karem Abu Salem crossing, while the World Central Kitchen ceased its efforts following an attack on its staff.

At al-Aqsa Hospital, where displaced families and the injured seek refuge, patients have gone without meals for days due to the closure of the community kitchen. The worsening shortage of aid is exacerbating the already critical living conditions.
