Field General Court Martial Process: Faiz Hameed Facing Charges for Political Activities and Misuse of Authority
Lieutenant General (Retired) Faiz Hameed has been formally arraigned under the Field General Court Martial Process: Faiz Hameed Facing Charges for engaging in political activities, violations of the Official Secrets Act, misuse of authority, and the misappropriation of government resources.
According to the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR), the Field General Court Martial Process: Faiz Hameed Facing Charges was initiated under the provisions of the Pakistan Army Act. The charges include actions detrimental to the state’s safety and interests, as well as causing wrongful loss to individuals.
In addition to these charges, the investigation also focuses on Hameed’s involvement in inciting unrest, particularly in connection with the May 9, 2023, incident, which is believed to have contributed to instability. This is alleged to have been carried out in collusion with political forces.
Despite the serious charges, Lieutenant General (Retired) Faiz Hameed is being afforded all legal rights as per the law.
