Dutch police uncovered a garden gnome weighing nearly 2kg, made entirely of MDMA, during a major drug bust in the southern region.
The Dongemond Police, covering areas like Oosterhout and Altena, remarked on social media, “Drugs come in all shapes, but this one was special.” The gnome, hands covering its mouth, appeared “startled” in their playful observation.
MDMA, an illegal synthetic drug known as ecstasy, is commonly linked to the Netherlands, a leading producer. Authorities frequently encounter creative smuggling attempts. In previous cases, drugs were hidden in cat food and frozen chicken shipments.
