Gaza: Palestinian health authorities have warned that dozens of wounded patients at the Indonesian Hospital in northern Gaza are at grave risk of dying due to a lack of food and water. The Ministry of Health in Gaza confirmed on Tuesday that 60 patients are “at risk of death” as the humanitarian crisis intensifies.

“The humanitarian situation inside the hospital has become extremely dangerous, as the wounded lack basic needs, which increases their suffering under the difficult conditions imposed by [Israeli] forces,” the ministry said in a statement on Telegram. Authorities warn 60 patients at Gaza hospital at risk due to severe shortages amid the ongoing siege.

Located in Beit Lahiya in northern Gaza, the hospital has been under immense pressure since the Israeli military siege began in early October. Authorities warn 60 patients at Gaza hospital at risk of starvation and dehydration, as emergency supplies have dwindled.

In addition to the growing medical crisis, the Ministry of Health reported 28 deaths and 54 injuries from “four massacres against families” as a result of Israeli airstrikes. The death toll from Israel’s ongoing war on Gaza has now risen to 44,786.

The situation remains dire, with first responders unable to reach victims trapped under rubble, further worsening the crisis. The United Nations’ humanitarian coordinator for Gaza, Sigrid Kaag, described the situation as “very, very bleak” in a closed UN Security Council meeting, highlighting the inhumane conditions faced by civilians.

The latest updates underscore the urgent need for international intervention, with calls for a ceasefire and humanitarian assistance to address the crisis escalating.
