Netanyahu Offers $5M Reward for Hostage Release

Gaza Alert

Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu announced a $5 million reward for anyone who helps secure the release of hostages held by Hamas in Gaza. In a video message filmed in the Netzarim Corridor, Netanyahu stated that individuals bringing hostages out of Gaza would be guaranteed a safe exit for themselves and their families.

Wearing protective gear, Netanyahu emphasized Israel’s determination to locate and return all hostages taken during Hamas’s October 7, 2023 attack, which led to the current war. As of now, 97 hostages remain in Gaza, and Israel’s goal is to eliminate Hamas’s control over the region while ensuring the safe return of all captives.

Netanyahu warned that anyone who harms the hostages would be relentlessly pursued by Israeli forces.
