Rafael Nadal’s illustrious career concluded as Spain fell to the Netherlands in the Davis Cup quarter-finals in Málaga. The 38-year-old, a 22-time Grand Slam champion, announced this event would mark his retirement.

In a packed arena, Nadal lost 6-4, 6-4 to Botic van de Zandschulp. While Carlos Alcaraz secured a victory in the second singles match, he and Marcel Granollers fell short in the deciding doubles, sealing Spain’s exit.
