5.3 Magnitude Earthquake Strikes Pakistan

A 5.3 magnitude earthquake jolted various cities across Pakistan, sending waves of panic among residents. The tremors were felt in Islamabad, Peshawar, and several areas of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, prompting people to rush out of their homes and businesses in fear. Many began reciting religious verses for reassurance.

According to the Seismic Monitoring Centre, the earthquake’s epicenter was located in the Hindu Kush region, with a depth of 220 kilometers. The quake also affected regions like Swat, Sobrai, Charsadda, Mardan, Hangu, Chitral, Buner, and surrounding areas. Additionally, tremors were reported in Mansehra, Khyber, Bara, Landi Kotal, Jamrud, and Tirah.
